Stretch Marks on Breasts
As much as it hurts to say it, the truth is that this is a really common condition among women with average/bigger breast sizes, and in some cases even smaller ones develop this condition, specially after pregnancy and breastfeeding. Not a lot can be done to prevent this apart from keeping the skin hydrated, this includes a good body lotion after each bath, but sadly this is not a fail-safe method, even a perfectly healthy skin can sometimes develop these marks. Some women just give up and look at this as some sort of battle scars, but I'm here to prove that you can get your skin to look as good as before, if not better.
What causes this?
The key element here is really a protein called Collagen, this protein is responsible for the skins elasticity. While we are growing up, a lot of it is produced, so the skin can grow without breaking, but its production starts to diminish as we reach adulthood, and eventually ceases alltogether, this doesn't mean the skin will break, but will start to lose elasticity over time.
Regarding the matter at hand, the problem with the breasts stretch marks is really gravity, since the breast is big, the skin is in constant strain to keep the breast in place, now if the skin is more rigid (less elastic) what will happen is that the skin will start to tear, and that tear is no more than a stretch mark. If you take the gravity force and add also the volume changes during breastfeeding and general pregnancy, the skin will need to be even more elastic, to withstand the breast weight and volume quick increase, and what happens is once again the formation of stretch marks, that is also why people who gain weight too fast, or grow too fast (bodybuilders) often have these same issues, as the skin just cannot grow at a fast enough rate.
